There are many students that these videos can be a benefit too. It also would just make learning much more creative and enjoyable.

There are so many kids who aren’t motivated to participate but I think listening to their music would help. However, I think schools fear what they would actually be doing as they can’t really monitor.

Some students already struggle financial and don’t need another burden. It’s sucks that assignments have to change last minute but us as educators need to plan ahead.

@tom_karnes @CsubMadelyns A2) It was during high school for my law, justice, and ethics class our final was to use WeVideo. We were to make a video on a case, but the teacher had to make a new final because half of the students had to pay to use the app. #CSUBEDTE4200 #CSUBTED @Duncannedd

@HildaObeso @tom_karnes @CsubMadelyns @doctor2pi Hi Hilda, My experience in high school was definitely similar. Whenever we tried playing things our schools wifi went down. I don’t think they really understood how many teachers depended on it. It was common for our tech supervisor to be called to fix the issue.

@tom_karnes @CsubMadelyns A2) My senior year of high school I had a teacher that was trying to play some videos to start their lecture. off, but the wifi was not working. The videos did not play and unfortunately more than half of our class time was up. #csubedte4200 #csubedte4200 @doctor2pi

@mumofdeux @doctor2pi Hey Elle, Flipgrid is mind blowing. I discovered it last year and I love it. I really enjoy how it’s interactive. Unlike a discussion board we are getting to see the person and their visual emotions. Thinks a discussion board could never do. I’m very happy you brought this up!

@doctor2pi A1) Flipgrid is a resource that I discovered this year & I’m 🤯 at how easy it is to use & it allows students to get their point across with a video rather than just typing things out. Being able to use Flipgrid makes responses more meaningful. #csubted #csubedte4200 @doctor2pi

@LYSS_GURON @doctor2pi Hi Alyssa, I fully agree with you. Google classroom is such a great communication device. Students are so used to technology so we need to take advantage. This is a great resource as like you said assignments and grading are all done/seen online. Great Job!

@doctor2pi A1) The technology recourse for me would have to be Kahoot. It’s a great way to get my students involved. Study guides for test can be useful but kids get bored of them easily. So this is a great way to make study fun and creative. @MaddernBryan #CSUBEDTE4200 #CSUBTED
