I’ve said it 1,000 times LSU’s fanbase is more like a NFL fanbase. Same w Tennessee. It’s a regional draw. 4 guys who hang shingles during the week load up 2 cases of Coors Light and drive from Morgan City to Baton Rouge to watch a game. That’s more like a NFL team. Part of the reason LSU has such a great Home field advantage when they’re winning. Schools like Ole Miss - it’s clearly obvious 90% + of the fanbase are somehow affiliated to the school. That’s also what makes it special there. But it is the YING and YANG of the #SEC and why it’s a great rivalry. Couldn’t find two more different fanbases.
