And yet you'd never think it from what most political parties are saying at this election. Don't they care about the future, our children and grandchildren and the calamity facing us all? Their indifference is quite staggering.

So love life and enjoy life. Enjoy food, drink, love, pets, friendship, humor, togetherness and aloneness, city and nature. Enjoy and love life deeply, and freely. And if you feel like crying your heart out do it, and if you feel like you'd rather die then see any more of it - do it with the same sense of freedom and permission. Love and enjoy life. Let the motherfuckers waste all their time and energy trying to be handcuffs around humanity's wrists. It can't work, because we are giants, and we must never fall into thinking that it can work, because this is letting darkness get a hold of you. Cry and shake with fear and shame, and scream at the top of your lungs (or growl, if you need to). But never be subdued. Never shut down. Fuck all of them. They are nothing but sick cowards with not a grain of actual strength. We have all the power in this world. Don't you forget that.

A lot of people don't seem to understand that I don't care if anyone believes me about climate change. I might if I thought it could be stopped, but I don't, so I don't. But it seems like a lot of those people *do* care whether the rest of you believe me. Interesting, huh?
