A lot of people talk about the "burst of indie animation" that will surely happen, but it seems like people don't care about them unless they're on TV.

To a Friend who wants to recapture old classic animation style: "It should be remembered that cartoonists didn't shoot out of the womb wanting to draw Betty Boop. They were newspaper cartoonists. My suggestion is to look at artist Willard Mullin and go from there."
