Great to hear from Parliamentary Secretaries @TimLouisKitCon and @mylesdavid this evening as the Team Canada Trade Mission to Mexico concludes. Over 2,000 business to business meetings and lots more follow up to grow beef and pork exports to a key market.

It was a pleasure to join Minister @CornwallHeath yesterday to hear firsthand from Mexican importers on the rising demand for Canadian pork.

Mexico is Canada’s 4th largest market for pork exports, growing by 20% in 2025. Thank you to Minister @CornwallHeath for inviting our President & CEO @KylePLarkin to join you yesterday to meet with importers of Canadian pork to discuss opportunities to continue growing exports.

Great to see Canadian beef and pork sold at grocery stores in Mexico. Consumer demand in Mexico for Canadian beef and pork drove an increase in exports by 20-25% in 2025.

The Team Canada Trade Mission to Mexico officially launched last evening where I had the opportunity to catch up with Ministers @DLeBlancNB and @CornwallHeath, as well as Mexico’s Ambassador to Canada.

A packed room this morning filled with over 370 delegates to hear from Minister @DLeBlancNB and Secretary of Economy of Mexico @m_ebrard during the Team Canada Trade Mission.

Looking forward to being in Mexico City and Guadalajara this week on the Team Canada Trade Mission with Ministers @DLeBlancNB and @CornwallHeath to promote how we can continue to grow our beef and pork exports to Mexico.

Canadian beef is now served in more than 600 restaurants across Vietnam and stocked in over 4,000 supermarkets. Agriculture is a growing pillar of our trade relationship with Vietnam, from beef and seafood to Canadian fruit. Great to sit down with them and see how this partnership is creating opportunity for Canadian farmers, workers, and exporters.
