July is Disability Pride Month! This month is a celebration of the strides of individuals with disabilities and a time to recognize the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act in July 1990.

Happy Juneteenth! June 19th has become a symbolic date representing the freedom of enslaved Black individuals. Take some time today to brush up on the history of Juneteenth and why this holiday is so essential.

Tomorrow, the LGBTQA+ Center will be holding a community care day during our normal office hours. Join us for a safe, affirming environment that is open to any and all members of our campus community. Join us for movies, snacks, coloring pages, games, and community.

Join the LGBTQA+ Center & Women's Center next Friday, May 12 for our End of Semester Celebration! From 12pm to 2pm, stop by the centers for snacks, crafts, and a celebration of all your hard work this school year. We'll see you there!

Our Spring Drag Show was a huge success! Thanks to our amazing student performers and the overall campus community, we can continue to support fellow Huskers through our student support fund and our partnership with the Husker Pantry.

Today is Trans Day of Visibility! TDoV is a day to celebrate the lives and many contributions of trans and gender non-conforming folks, while also bringing to attention the violence and discrimination faced by the community each and every day.

We are hiring! Work about 10 hours a week, while working collaboratively with peers & staff at both centers. Learn & grow in communication, advocacy, teamwork, and creating a welcoming environment. Apply by April 10, 2023.

Happy International Women's Day! Today, we celebrate ALL women, no matter their backgrounds. Women have made their mark on this world, and will continue to do so for many, many more years to come.

Today marks the start of Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week! While disappointingly not as visible, aromantic folks are a valued part of the LGBTQA+ community and deserve recognition. This week, take some time to learn about aromanticism!

To all of those who donated during Glow Big Red: thank you so much! Because of you, we were able to raise almost $5,000 for our student support fund. We are so lucky to have our Husker family!

This upcoming Tuesday, join the LGBTQA+ Center & C.A.R.E. from 6:30pm-8:30pm in the Union Ballroom for the long-awaited return of Condoms, Cookies & Consent! This free event will give you a chance to expand your knowledge of sexual health, relationships, and consent.
