🎭 A fantastic evening at @edinplayhouse with Miss Gray & @Mrs_Heery_Drama. A backstage tour & a peak at the set and costumes of my fav show - Wicked!💚 Followed by a great discussion about possible opportunities for our amazing learners across the school🤞🏽

⏰TIME⏰ This week we have been developing our knowledge and understanding of time! We used various strategies to help us calculate time intervals.

🧠An extremely busy morning in the Pod today, as we had learners completing various ASDAN courses, and others completing N2 RMPS🌍 Amazing to see the pupils develop their confidence and independent work✨

🧑🏻‍🔬UPDATE! I am so impressed with the infographics I have received so far. Amazing work!

🧬YSL🧬 Today as part of our @SSERCofficial Young Stem Leader Qualification, we researched and created an infographic of various female STEM individuals that helped shape our lives. Cannot wait to see the finished designs! @RAiSE_falkirk

🧐⚽️ This morning K & L engaged in fantastic research into different aspects of their ASDAN courses. Using the notes they created, the pupils then went on to design their own Canva presentation. Amazing work!!

🌙 One of our amazing pupils has created an incredible stop-start animation to explain the different phases of the moon for their ASDAN course in Science. AMAZING work!!💫🌑🌖

☕️MEASURE☕️ - As part of our maths qualification we had to participate in measure activities in a real life context. For this, we took a trip to our local shop and got the ingredients required. We then measured what we needed to make some amazing hot chocolates! Cheers🫶🏽✨

A £23m funding bid has been approved by @scotgov as part of their Learning Estate Investment Programme. The Carrongrange project aims to expand the existing high school capacity and provide a new campus for primary-aged pupils who have additional support needs.

💫Kai💫 We are all blown away by Kai’s incredible model of one of the Kelpies he completed in art. Kai used a variety of materials to design and construct his model . He was asked to construct a creative treehouse inspired by his community and nature. Unbelievable work Kai👌🏼

📚We have used our iPads & keyboards to complete metalinguistics✨ We used our novel to identify tricky words, discussed our understanding of the word, then used various strategies to find the proper meaning 🔎Using our new knowledge we put it into context. Brilliant work!
