Asked Mike Sullivan about Sykora being right in the thick of things for #NYR. “He’s a dog on the bone on the puck. Doesn’t matter what the score is, he’s going to give you 110%… His personality is infectious. You could see the reaction of his teammates when he scored the goal. Was my first time talking to Jonny (Brodzinski) tonight, and can confirm, the absolute nicest guy. And thank goodness sending instagram reels is timeless. Good for the #NYR team vibes.

Talked to #NYR forward, Jonny Brodzinski, following the 6-1 win over the #Blackhawks, and he articulated about each and every young guy. On Garand: “He’s one of the hardest working goalies that I’ve ever had a pleasure of playing with.” On Sykora: “Everyday is a good day for him. I don’t know if the camera pans to him when we score, but he’s up and down the bench, firing everybody up.” On Fortescue: “Just a really good solid game for his 1st game, it’s awesome to see. On Chmelar, who was sitting right next to him and giggling: “Just give this guy the puck and let him go to work.” And lastly, asked Garand about Brodzinski’s comment about him, and he mentioned that those two send reels still.😂 @wfuvsports
