@FreeRangeKids Earlier this year a 15-year old boy in my daughter’s grade was left alone for a week plus. Other kids found out he had an OC (open crib) and threw a huge party causing lots of damage and the cops to come. He felt helpless to stop it. So I vote no.

Lively debate in our Raising Independent Kids FB group: "We are leaving on a family vacation soon, driving about 15 hours away, for a week and a half. My 15 year old son does NOT want to go and is begging me to let him stay home. He isn't really a trouble maker..."

I'm so sad that S1 of Poker Face is over & jealous of anyone who will watch for the 1st time now that all eps are out. The show is visually, emotionally, & intellectually stimulating while also being that perfect funny/sad mix. Thx @nlyonne & @rianjohnson for bringing us joy.

@cogman_bryan I loved the book and watched two episodes of the show when it was first out. I always meant to go back, but all these options have given me the attention span of a flea and I never did. Bummed that I can’t.
