Now, Leeds have become a completely different animal. Switching to a 3-5-2 at the start of December, the code has well and truly been cracked. Old-school rivals Chelsea came to Elland Road under the lights and were swept aside by the brutal intimidation and endeavour showed from the home side and crowd. Then followed Liverpool, who led twice, but couldn't finish the job. A tricky trip to Brentford followed. Despite Leeds going behind late on, they fought back courtesy of the high-flying Dominic Calvert-Lewin. On Saturday night under the ER lights once more, Crystal Palace were left absolutely helpless. Having only conceded 15 goals all season, Leeds managed to put four past the Eagles. DCL now has five goals in a month and is once again shutting the critics up. When available, he is a goal-machine. Farke has rightfully won his plaudits for a brave change that may save the club Prem status. The club sit perched comfortably six points above the drop zone with the New Year promising the gift of points on the board.
