I get your point, but I disagree. Geno embarrassed himself and UConn. He did not harm Dawn Staley. He made a spicy comment and moved on in the handshake line. Happens often. Dawn snapped and started talking about fighting. Triggered. No self-control. Violence or threats of violence not the proper response from an adult (or child). She had the option of letting Geno make a fool of himself all by himself. She didn't need to join him.

THIS is what he was talking about. In post-season there are typically two handshakes and pretty much every other coach in the tournament can be seen honoring that formality.

@gPrep I wouldn’t be mad at that. I would prefer it be Azzi only bc Miles and Paige would need a shooter bc they hunt for assists lol. Miles is like a combination of Arike and Chelsea Gray. She can create her own shot like Arike and pass like Gray. We all saw how that played out..
