Very special kids leaving this week… This cohort of Y11 are the first I’ve taken from Y7 through to Y11. A group I’ll never forget! Some of these kids, I’ve taught every year since they were 11yo🥹 When the days get tough, this book will remind me what it’s all for!

This morning, we welcomed Yr 7 students from @linsladeschool to @Cedars_Upper. Students completed @UKLingOlympiad puzzles, working out how to communicate in several langs incl #Yodaspeak, Pig Latin and Estonian. Such #engaged and #determined students! @ChilternLT #mfltwitterati

Day 4: Back into #Seville, starting at the magnificent Plaza de España. After a #tapas lunch, we visited the #RealMaestranza where students learnt about the history of bullfighting.

For anyone thinking that we are on holiday, here's proof that we are on a study visit! This evening, students have completed two translations, composed reviews of the places we've visited, in the style of a well-known website, and written up their diaries. @Cedars_Upper
