Hi vtubers! I know we been sharing bad collab experiences, but I’d love to see more positivity on my feed. Could you share with me the best collabs you’ve experienced?

@firozera Very true and that also applies to other platforms too not just Twitter. Kinda like tiktok where ppl like connecting w/ you over you posting twitch clips

I can understand some of that advice. Going live notices tend to be the least interacted with types of post, so continually posting them over and over can damage your account. This is because the algorithm has a hard time figuring out your audience when you're a small account. Worst case scenario, if you mainly post going live posts with the same format and link every time, your posts might get flagged as spam. If you're going to do it, you should always try to advertise your streams with thumbnails a day ahead of time. And either make sure your channel link is in your bio for people to find or in the comments.

I came across some "how to grow as a vtuber" video and a lot of it suggest not to tweet about going live, your pre-debut art, etc. because I don't have my model... like bro wtf would i even post then??! XD

Imma give you some S tier advice from what I’ve learned on the streets of Twitter lol NEVET TRUST THOSE, they are usually flooded with false info or info thats VERY ineffective lol, some of them are genuine but it’s mostly false. Honestly, consistency and spreading across many platforms is what will help you in the long run

on this topic, I think its important to address collab etiquette… collab etiquette covers HALF the things that go wrong during collabs, especially bigger collabs. 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗕 𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘 📚 ··············• ——▹ 𝗺𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 while talking to chat, self-explanatory 🔇 ——▹ be 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 and remember the 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 / 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 🗓️ Ive seen people be late, no show, or ‘forget’ a collab was happening. write it down, have a calendar, set an alarm. its unprofessional, hinders everyone else and is disrespectful to the host ——▹ 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 to the host 🗣️ if you need to cancel, give a heads up if possible. at the very minimum even last minute. if you ‘no show’ apologise afterwards ——▹ 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗹, this is a collab 🤝 including everyone, avoiding inside jokes and trying not to speak over others, especially dominating the space. its okay if you talk alot but give others a chance too ——▹ the host should 𝗕𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗗 ‼️ If you are hosting, have people meet up earlier. set things up whether it’s a lobby or game code, making sure you and others have the game dowloaded, and be ready for tech support ——▹ 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 content boundaries 🙏 please follow the rules of anyone streaming and don’t talk about anything controversial or could bring the mood down of course there is other things I could add but these are the MAIN AND MANDATORY ones! makes sure ‘that person’ isn’t you!
