In Nigeria, Islamist extremists & their sympathizers always shift blame when communities defend themselves. Defense HQ arresting "Berom militia" for reprisals while villages keep burning? How does a fellow Berom suddenly decide to wipe out his own people? The govt failed to protect the common man for decades. One day, that same unprotected man will turn his anger on the failed system. Enough of selective justice! Plateau deserves real security, not theatre. #PlateauKillings Say na berom militia lol

@AnnUdoh5 It's so appalling seeing giant companies and production outfits fold or sacked from Nigerian, it pains a lot. Is it that Nigerian doesn't deserve good things?

@Abdul_Ahmad_ All these nonsense will stop one day. That's just it. There's no supremacy in religion o No religion can stop death. No religion can make a mould of clay and breathe life into it.

2026 UTME (JAMB): LESSONS FOR NEED OF PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE IN JOS. A Thread 🧵 By Lawal Ishaq Esq. 19th March 2026 When the timetable for the ongoing Universities Tertiaries Examinations (popularly called JAMB) was released, leadership of my organization the Jos Renaissance Group (JRG) convened an emergency meeting to look at the security challenges shrouding the examinations coming couple of weeks after the unfortunate Unguwar Ruiuba mass shooting which reopened the old wounds in Jos and further polarized the city along Muslims/Christians divides. The exam came when Jos North local government area is under a 6am to 6pm curfew. The leadership of JRG decided to step in to see how best it can help to ensure a peaceful examinations. The first step taken by JRG is to collate data of candidates especially those who are Muslims. Next is the data analysis to determine centers that posed security challenges to Muslim candidates. An announcement was put out Friday evening of 10th March on the JRG Whatsapp platform (a restricted group with about 550 members). Phone numbers of some leaders, including mine, were put for contact with information from candidates concerning their centers, dates and times for their examinations. We requested that such information be sent to those designated numbers via WhatsApp. Within minutes that post went viral all over social media. Calls and messages began pouring into our numbers in torrents. By Sunday morning, JRG collated over 600 candidates with security challenging centers. Incidentally, even our Christian brothers and sisters were not left out as they called and or sent their data. On same Friday 10th March, JRG wrote a letter to the Plateau State Commissioner of Police highlighting the challenges ahead. The letter was copied to all the security agencies in the state.. By Monday 13th March, more bodies including religious groups joined in the quest for a peaceful JAMB examinations exercise in Jos. The common fear stem out from the fact that the JAMB body randomly dispatched candidates to the 19 exterminator centers in Jos without regards to a candidate's faith! Suddenly, both Muslims and Christians are forced to realize one simple significant and compelling lesson: we must coexist in peace with one another! From our data analysis, Muslim candidates were sent to about 5 security challenges areas to them. In the same vein, our Christian brothers and sisters find themselves having to take the examinations in areas they dread to ever imagine going. On Monday a critical stakeholders meeting took place at the Police Officers Mess in Jos under the Plateau State Police Commissioners. The Registrar General of JAMB was forced down to Jos that evening via a chattered Flight along with his top officers. 1/2

In the core north if one baba Abdul Aziz who captures bandit gets on the media space he's a hero, but when a berom christian as you said is caught with guns protecting his community from being killed like chicken, he's called a terrorist. If the army or police failed in their responsibilities shouldn't the brave youths level up o protect themselves? Don't you think the morality is much in berom land? Local farmers killed cows for eating their crops. Fulani people killed farmers for eating their cows. What's the moral justification?

Another set of Berom Christians terrorists arrested were in Barikin ladi yesterday. Below is their names Aaron Joshua, 21; Ernest David, 21; Ishaya Haruna, 19; and Kyenshak Yakubu, 28. FYI: terrorism in Northern Nigeria started in Plateau State long before any other state.

AFFORDABLE PLACES TO LIVE IN JOS, PLATEAU STATE - Estimated Rents & Value (could be a little more or less) Jos is generally known for having a very favorable cost of living and comfortable weather compared to major Nigerian commercial hubs like Lagos or Abuja. However, if you are looking to maximize your budget, certain neighborhoods offer particularly excellent value for residential housing. Agents mostly, are having the habit of self-increment of rent aside from the original cost of rent. Some will say that the rent is ₦200,000 but when the receipt is issued, you see ₦130,000. Here are some of the best, budget-friendly places to live in Jos: 1. ZARMAGANDA: Rapidly developing, excellent mix of young professionals, and very accessible to the city center. ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 ₦200,000 – ₦400,000 2. BUKURU (Outskirts): A major commercial hub of its own in Jos South. Very affordable if you look slightly off the main expressways (e.g., Gyel). ₦80,000 – ₦130,000 ₦150,000 – ₦350,000 3. RANTYA (State Low Cost): A structured, grid-planned residential estate offering a quiet, secure environment without premium rent. ₦120,000 – ₦160,000 ₦250,000 – ₦450,000 4. RAFIN BAUNA: Highly economical and quiet, though slightly further out from the primary central business district. ₦70,000 – ₦100,000 ₦130,000 – ₦250,000 5. FARIN GADA: Bustling area heavily populated by students and traders due to its proximity to the University of Jos. ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 ₦200,000 – ₦350,000 6. TINA JUNCTION/BAUCHI RING ROAD: Very active and accessible, serving as a major connecting artery. Offers a wide range of basic, affordable housing. ₦100,000 – ₦140,000 ₦180,000 – ₦350,000 7. TUDUN WADA: An older, well-established residential area with a strong sense of community and lower-tier pricing. ₦80,000 – ₦130,000 ₦150,000 – ₦300,000 8. ANGLO JOS: Strategically located near commercial zones but maintains slightly older housing stock, keeping prices grounded. ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 ₦200,000 – ₦400,000 9. LAMINGO: Developing outskirts near the dam and teaching hospital; extremely cheap if you don't mind the quiet, edge-of-town feel. ₦70,000 – ₦110,000 ₦150,000 – ₦250,000 10. KWANG/MAZARAM: Strategic borders to the expensive Rayfield area. You get proximity to high-end amenities at budget rates. ₦130,000 – ₦180,000 ₦300,000 – ₦500,000 11. DONG: Highly economical and quiet, though slightly further out from the primary central business district. ₦70,000 – ₦100,000 ₦130,000 – ₦300,000. Jos mutuals... Which other areas are affordable to live in??? Which places did I misinterpreted the rent cost???

Even our old Nigerian politicians only helped themselves and their families. If anyone tries to check them, they quickly block every help. Still, today we are suffering a new kind of slavery in our country-the slavery of the rich elites. These big men keep squeezing ordinary Nigerians with hard life and lies. Every time, they give us fake hope and empty promises. They chop money well well, but tell us to suffer in silence. How long will we continue like this? 🇳🇬 #Nigeria #EndBadLeadership
