I mean, I probably won't, because I'm not really angling for an anatomy textbook feature. I'm just dicking around putting characters and concepts I like together and seeing what looks cool or hot. I certainly could though if I want something more realistic and accurate, versus the more abstract archetype-focused approach I've played with so far. Sure, that'd increase the perceived quality of my work, especially with one as discerning as yourself. These are all things I'm slowly incorporating, to make better end results. BTW, earlier you said "most" of the anatomy was wrong, but you only tried dissecting one example? As useful as that was, "most" would imply a ton of examples. I post a lot of images. Please go cherry-pick the next worst one, if you don't mind.

At what point does "mashing a keyboard" actually materially diverge from "strumming the strings" or "scribbling the strokes"..? When do all the individual components become the actual "art?" You tout the process, as if the end result barely even matters. I- and many others simply assert that for some art, the end result is the most visible, and therefore most important part. For an alleged artist, you're surprisingly averse to the simple concept of subjective value.

@ClandestineMerk @kezottle @seelittlekoi @MeatyLlamaStick @ajarakamokkuren You tell me in all your wisdom how you’re going to make AI make sure that the deltoid connects to the chest and that the elbows aren’t in the wrong place and that the spine isn’t in the gut. You could do that with your own hands and brain if you learned, but I wanna hear it

I just learned that directors, writers, conductors- all potentially not real artists... Rough news to take in. Who will give them "@LikelyToRot07's" memo, I wonder?

@ClandestineMerk @kezottle @seelittlekoi @MeatyLlamaStick @ajarakamokkuren He’d also likely be a stickler to any idea of composure that isn’t from instruments. However, soundboards still take a deep understanding of what sounds work together and what don’t. It’s still a study that takes a lot of skill and practise and I’m sure he’d recognise that

It is the longest standing trait- which is exactly why humans, no matter what age they live in, will always flock to express themselves in whatever novels means are available. Do you think Mozart would be fascinated, or horrified to see a modern producer with his knobs and panels and his DAWs, and potentially not even a single real instrument of music sheet in sight? Times change, tools change, accessibility trends up over time as technology advances. People said the same thing you're saying, about drum machines in the 80's and 90's. Portrait artists and painters said the same thing about cameras in the 1850's. New options get added to processes over time. "Progress" wins. We all simply have to adjust. Besides, even if you were right- and AI did completely bust, that wouldn't undo or devalue any of the stuff people have already made with it. People are still being moved by, entertained by, and captivated by AI art TODAY. They already value it right now. That matters more than what any uncertain future may hold.

That you think none of these steps or components are involved in a creative process utilizing AI, is testament to- frankly, how ignorant you are about the actual services and systems themselves, and how people use them. You guys really think we just type in stuff like "cute anime girl" and "sad rap song" huh? lmao Further, many still post-process whatever they generate into something else. It Editing itself not considered an art..? Is remixing still art? Parodying? It's all just so pretentious and self-aggrandized.

Well good for the ones able to do that. Feel like I see "woe is me, they're drying up" posts more and more these days. Also, people are already making money from AI art, so just telling you straight, the mentality you're operating with will only set you up for disappointment, imho.

Also, "executive dysfunction disorder" Uhhm ok?... Why would anyone just looking at art care about that...? And what does that have to do with the resultant quality or appearance of your art? Most people just want to look at and hear nice things, that make them think or feel something. "How many miles you had to walk uphill, both ways" in order to make the art... the average viewer will never know or care about- nor give you the extra back-pats you want for it. This level of victimhood and entitlement is actually why you guys have such a negative reputation for some people as of late. Many would rather just experiment on their own and not even bother reaching out. I don't blame them. I don't blame you guys for lashing out either though. For some, the commissions are really drying up I imagine.
