@Chunky_Milk____ @lowkeytoniverse Yes ik and I've realized what Ive said before and it wasn't good wording but wario is still inherently seen as mostly antagonistic in the Mario verse anyways or more of an anti hero. If not metal sonic then shadow works pretty well

Plus I think Dk vs knuckles is pretty much more fitting. Both were enemies of the main characters at first (albeit knuckles was tricked) but later on they become ally/friends with them.
