Hey all, sorry for the long absence. Regular Paleophage posting will begin again soon.

And while it's not a dinosaur game, it does have *creatures* of many kinds. Some are based on natural forms and some are way more abstract. I'm very excited to eventually share more info and actual gameplay from it but I can't say when that might be. Maybe after Paleo launches.🤷‍♂️

And for a little clarification, the next game is not a dinosaur survival horror title. It's got survival horror elements but it's otherwise a very different game. It's borderline experimental as an outlet for me to explore ideas I think are fun or cool or scary.

I have another game that's in the works that I don't want to talk too much about because Paleophage is my #1 priority, but one thing that I regret is not recording a lot of early dev stuff for Paleophage, so I don't have a lot to compare progress to.

Also working towards having more animal interactions independent of the player - Creatures now fall into different "factions", like carnivore/herbivore/prey/predator/insect, etc to denote what kind of interactions are possible with creatures in other factions. - More on that soon

Spent the last week or so working on the Dimorphodon/flying enemy behaviors. Still ironing a few kinks out but it's nearly there. #screenshotsaturday

Small update because people have been asking lately: The game is still coming to PS5, and I'm pretty confident in a 2026 release. I don't want to give a hard date until I'm certain of it though so exact release still TBD. Will have more info soon, possibly a demo as well.

I've been working on pack behavior systems for certain types of dinosaurs. The idea is for dinosaurs to dynamically group up and designate a pack leader, then surround/flank a target. I'll demo this at some point once I get it working a little more cleanly.
