Path to Live Scam? A trader requested his first-ever payout from the propfirm, waited several days for it to be processed, only to be contacted shortly thereafter by a propfirm representative who informed him that he had been selected for the Path to Live program and would receive a live account. Not only were all his active accounts closed, but he was also informed that his payout requests were being canceled, as this is standard procedure for them under the "Path to Live" program. In the end, he received a "live" account with $10,000, but before he can request his first payout, he must make an additional $10,000 in profit. So, in the end, the trader lost all his accounts, received no payout, and must double his balance with this propfirm before he sees his first dollar. Clearly, "path to live" policies are hitting new lows. Does this seem fair to you? Would you trade with such a firm if you knew this was happening? One of our traders contacted me about his experience with a futures propfirm. And I’m still amazed at what’s possible in this industry and how propfirms manage to find ways to scam their traders. Try to guess which prop firm did this.

Tell me, why would you trade with a propfirm that isn't among the top 10 largest firms? There isn't a single reason. The problem is that many traders don't know which propfirms are the largest. Based on what criteria do you look for them?
