Great event today with the North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce discussing The Future of Transportation for the North Shore. Thank you to TransLink CEO Kevin Quinn for sharing insights on transit planning, reliability, and the investments needed to support our growing communities and economy. It was great to join community leaders, mayors, fellow MLAs, and council members discussing the future of transportation on the North Shore and the importance of ensuring our transportation network keeps pace with growth. @nvchamber

Showing support matters — both for the Iranian community here in West Vancouver–Capilano and for those courageously fighting for freedom in Iran. @BCConservCaucus

Wishing everyone in West Vancouver–Capilano and across British Columbia a blessed and joyful Easter. As families and communities gather to celebrate, may this season of renewal bring hope, peace, and time to reflect on the values of faith, compassion, and gratitude. May the Easter message of renewal and new beginnings bring encouragement and joy to you and your loved ones. Happy Easter to all who are celebrating. 🌷🐣

The BC Select Standing Health Committee hasn’t met since 2022. Not during a healthcare crisis. Not while 7,400 seniors wait for long-term care. I’ve introduced a motion to try and force it to reconvene. The Minister of Health can call it tomorrow. If they don’t… ask why they refuse to even look. What do they have to hide?

The merit principle within BC’s public service is so important to maintain trust of civil servants and the public. Hiring and promotions should be based on merit, not political or insider connections. The same principle should apply to just-cause dismissals. This has historically been overseen by the Merit Commissioner, but the NDP shut down the office in this year’s Budget. The NDP also just voted against a motion in the Legislature affirming the merit principle within the public service. A disappointing day for British Columbians.. I spoke to Motion M203 in the Legislature. 👇

As Passover begins this evening, we recognize a story of courage, perseverance, and the pursuit of freedom that continues to resonate today. This should be a time of gathering, reflection, and celebration, but for many, it comes amid growing concern about rising antisemitism. That reality cannot be ignored. In British Columbia and across our communities, everyone deserves to live openly and safely, without fear or discrimination. To the Jewish community here at home and around the world: you are valued, and you are not alone. Chag Pesach Sameach. ✡️

Students, not politics, must remain the priority in our classrooms. The BCTF has chosen to take a position on a complex international issue, raising real concerns for families here at home. For Jewish students and families already facing rising antisemitism, this isn’t abstract, it’s deeply personal. Schools should be safe, balanced spaces where every child can learn, think critically, and feel supported, free from bias or political influence. I’m urging Minister Beare to ensure the focus stays where it belongs, on student well-being, academic success, and fair, unbiased learning environments. @BCConservCaucus

Families in Abbotsford are raising awareness about supports for children with autism and neurodivergent needs. Every child deserves the support they need to succeed. 📍 Legislature, Victoria 🗓 April 2

Five credit downgrades. $13.3 billion deficit. This is the NDP's record. And their plan to fix it? Tax seniors for cable and landlines. Tax small businesses. Cut autism funding. Small businesses are already paying out of pocket for private security because the NDP can't keep our streets safe. And now they want to tax that too. And what do British Columbians have to show for all of it? Longer wait times. A healthcare system on its knees. Services that keep getting worse. You can't spend your way out of a spending problem. BC doesn't need a bigger government. It needs a stronger private sector. British Columbians are done paying for NDP failures. #bcpoli

DRIPA needs to go. It's created nothing but uncertainty for this province. British Columbians are tired of it. The NDP wants you to believe that repealing DRIPA would cost BC billions. That's simply not true. Every single major economic project in this province got done without DRIPA. Their whole argument falls apart the moment you look at the facts. But the uncertainty doesn't end there. People are worried about their homes. They're worried about their land. These are families who have worked their whole lives to own a piece of this province, and right now they don't know where they stand. The Premier first said he'd backstop mortgages. Then he turned around and said property rights aren't at risk. Which is it? The uncertainty the NDP created has a real cost. Investors are looking at BC and walking away. You can't build an economy when nobody knows the rules. British Columbians aren't asking for much. They just want a straight answer and the NDP can't give them one. #bcpoli
