WIOPOLREX aims to test participating states' and centers' readiness and coordination on oil, hazardous, and noxious substance spills. It was prompted by the MV Wakashio incident in 2020, which spilled ≈1,000 metric tonnes of oil off the coast of Mauritius🇲🇺. @MASE_programme
