Cunningham Falls State Park has reopened to new visitors after this morning's capacity closure. The Avalon Area of Patapsco Valley State Park has closed to new visitors this afternoon, as it has reached capacity.

Due to the high volume of visitors on this beautiful day at the Maple Syrup Festival, Cunningham Falls State Park is closed to new visitors for the time being. We will reopen later today as people leave the park.

On Saturday, March 7th volunteers, including the organization Team Rubicon, helped Tuckahoe State Park get their campground ready for the season. With park staff, they cleaned up winter storm damage, removed leaves from campsites, cleaned fire rings, and replaced picnic tables.
