To see that performance from Alexa Grasso, just days after Khabib’s comments about women’s place in MMA, I thought, was pretty profound. It’s up there with one of the greatest finishes in UFC history. I can't stop thinking about it. A truly unforgettable sequence. We should be celebrating women competing at the highest level—not just fighting, but coaching, training, and doing everything men do in athletics.

Organic & farm reared meat is more healthy & better quality than most of this processed religiously slaughtered meat. We need to do better as a nation.

If half of all migrant children are living in poverty doesn’t that mean we’ve allowed too many, low-skilled migrants into Britain who don’t contribute to our economy?

Half of all migrant children currently live in poverty - an already shameful statistic. But the Earned Settlement model will see that poverty prolonged for 90,000 children in working migrant families. That's why my community says the Government must think again.

@OliDugmore We need Hoxhaism lite. Organised religious worship belongs in private homes or churches. Far too many religious buildings ruining the idilic quaint town atmosphere. Whether this is post hyperbole or not, it’s a valid critique. No more secularism, we need state atheism.

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. Perform these rituals in churches if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.
