@BHills_03 EXACTLY, and I love Dan Mora so no hate to him but I’d killllll for a DC Game in the style of DWJ, especially since each and every character in his style has their own unique look and feel (you could also put the absolute characters in his style and I’d ascend)

Watching RE fans as a fan of Evil Dead and Kamen Rider is kinda hilarious. Like imagine if fans of those series got mad each time a new thing came out and had new plots, locations, characters etc. it all just feels so strange especially knowing RE as a whole is all into new ideas

@TaiDawg With evil dead, the reboot as well as the newer original films are completely different, have different characters, locations, and ideas behind them, yet they still hold true to the core of the franchise. This is extremely similar to that, which is why I’m very excited for it

@MMRebels08 Kamen Rider has so much fan appreciating content that you can pick so much.
Evil Dead has had so many amazing movies, an awesome TV show, and a reboot series. All still love letters to the original. Not to mention some awesome video game tie-ins.

@TheSinestro I’m not saying they can’t be faithful, I’m just trying to point out that there are ways to do adaptations without being faithful that still manage to capture the essence of the original media

@MMRebels08 Shawshank Redemption, Last of Us, LOTR, Watchmen( except for the end), Invincible, etc. All of which are pretty faithful and generally considered good. Hell there are some folks who think Shawshank is one of the best films ever.

It's crazy every adaptation of any game or book always get criticized of it's not being accurate enough and people agree that it's bad and it should be more acurate to the source material but for some reason Resident Evil sould not get a faithful adaptation !?
