School Bus Safety Reminder. We’re participating in Operation Safe Stop, focused on bus safety. The goal is to remind all drivers to stop for school buses with their red lights flashing & stop signs. Together, We Can Make a Difference! 🚌 Bus Garage over and out!

We recognize & celebrate Valley students & staff for our Wildcats of the Week! New this year is an opportunity for our family & community to nominate a Valley staff! We also thought it was important to honor a few district staff that really cared for Valley last week!

Thank you to Kellie and Carla for offering flu shots for students. We had a few bumps with family sign ups so we appreciate the support and flexibility of our community!

Fall festivities with some great students! 🍂

This week we practiced bus drills and evacuation (fire) drills. Students have done an excellent job being respectful, responsible and safe. Students earn paws throughout their day that they work towards a whole building reward or a classroom goal.

Tomorrow is the 24th anniversary of September 11th. From tragedy came unity, healing, and a sense of purpose. Never forget.

In honor of international dog day we love Bernie! Bernie is Mrs. DePorters sidekick and our school therapy dog. This certified dynamic duo put smiles on our faces at Valley!

Last week we welcomed our Wildcats for screenings, bus orientation and popsicles with the principals. A highlight was going on a brand new bus for a tour around the neighborhood! 🚌🛝✏️

September lunch menu! All students receive a free breakfast and lunch every day. Hard copies will come home the first day of school and each month throughout the year. 🍽️

With the ongoing capital project construction, we have a few instructions for the event tomorrow. Please park on the main office side of the building parking lot. You will then follow the sidewalk along the front of the building and enter through the open doors by the cafeteria.

We are excited for this event next week! Mrs. Schutt, Mr. Cousin and a few members of our transportation department look forward to seeing you. 🚌🛝
