Community means everything in web3 This is from late December when my wife was struggling to walk on her own and had even just fallen from side effects of chemo @quirkiesnft is full of the best humans like @quirk_quirky who passed this quirk along to me after they held it as a protector of their mom until remission from her cancer Today this quirk remains undefeated as my wife is cancer free Here at Quirkies, we aren’t a community, we are a family who looks out for each other. We prop each other up when anyone is down. We go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels included from whales to potential holders, everyone is on the same playing field. The love is endless here. You’re not a number. You’re not a potential royalty. You’re not exit liquidity. You’re a friend, a brother, a sister. Today we celebrate with tears of joy for my wife beating cancer. If you don’t believe in miracles and have been following my wife’s journey/fight with stage 4 cancer, please read this… Yesterday, we went in for her first PET scan (the scan that lights up anywhere where cancer is active in the body) since her initial one back in November. The original scan lit up like a Christmas tree with spots in her lungs, liver, back, pelvis and thigh, classified as stage 4 adenocarcinoma that had spread even to the brain. Needless to say, the initial prognosis is not good regardless of the person with that advanced cancer. Most people will hear “you have 2-3 years left to live” Even though that’s exactly what we were told, we didn’t let it phase us, bc it’s just an opinion and not fact. We changed our diets (I use our in these sentences bc I changed everything to match her so we could fight as a team), cut out sugar and carbs almost completely, did our research into the holistic side of treatments available and went full on battle mode against the cancer that was trying to take something beautiful and turn it into negative. We asked for prayers from anyone and everyone bc God is bigger than cancer. He has the ability to heal us without any treatments at all. He made the lame walk and the blind see. So, we knew He could heal her if that was in His plan. We prayed hard, even though at times it seemed unfair for her to be going through this. She was put on 3 different chemo regimens before they found the primary origin of the cancer. Once they found that, she was put on a targeted treatment with immunotherapy. We received the results of her PET scan yesterday but weren’t able to see our oncologist until this morning. And she confirmed…… THERE IS NO ACTIVE CANCER in her entire body!!! We are in shock! GOD IS GREAT!!! We will continue treatments as cancer can come back quick, but for today, we thank each and every one of you that prayed for us, reached out, added her to your churches prayer list and just checked in on us. No words could ever express how thankful we are for each and every one of you. We are in tears, but they are tears of joy.. Thank you 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️ Cancer didn’t win.

A major issue in @DetroitRedWings play over the last 6-8 years is that they just haven’t shot the puck enough. Obviously it’s not all that simple BUT… Coaching and strategy has changed but the same problem exists. Early in the season I felt we had finally broke that spell and started with a new system under McLellan but over the last few months its becoming a major issue again. We pass way too much and wait for the perfect moment way too much. We don’t get gritty goals because we don’t allow those chances to happen. No reason we should be blowing +2 leads in a 3rd period and getting outshot 2-3x each game. At some point goalies are going to fall to frustration.
