Digital assets are becoming a core part of institutional portfolios. BTC is digital gold. ETH is something more: a store of value - with cash flow and utility. ETH is productive money. And as Ethereum becomes universal, ETH will capture the TAM of the world’s money.

[ $PENGU ] If you're looking for alts to add here, you want to look for those that look good against BTC, since $BTC.D is seemingly breaking out. That is one of the reasons I like PENGU here. Weekly chart against $BTC already crossed bullish on MACD as chart is also creating prolonged bullish divergences when it is in a demand zone (pic 1). Against USD the hcart broke out of the downtrend that lasted for 8 months, so it's kind of a big deal. Two main targets for this year are $0,014 and $0,026 (pic 2). First resistance at $0,085. Volume is seemingly increasing.

Layer 2s have always been the trade-off for the blockchain trilemma and it works as intended imo. Ofcourse there's always improvements but: ETH L1 is where you get the most security. I.E. for high value transactions. ETH L2's is where you make the trade-off between security and decentralization/speed. When processing millions of microtransactions, you don't need them all to be decentralized. Sequencers have never been decentralized etc. We always knew L2's were less decentralized than L1 ETH. When processing 100 mil in a single transaction that's when you want/need the security of the base layer. We shouldn't just blindly discount anything that is not 100% decentralized as bad, otherwise 99% of crypto wouldn't exist. What we should do is make logical trade-offs when needed. Assess the risks where needed, where single points of failures are and implement at least some decentralization (like @arbitrum council).
