@A_Schwartz67 Theres way more room to make a mistake on bigger ovals than a short track and its faster. Like you said the aero is a whole different beast on those tracks as well. I applaud NASCAR for making the right decision on Cleetus. They need more Practice and Testing overall imo

Cleetus saying Kansas and Talladega are easier then the short tracks is.. interesting. By yourself, sure. In a pack? Good luck when you're put in a tough aero situation. I partially blame Nascar because how is he suppose to learn any of that in single car testing or practice?

@FreddieKraft I think its the right call Freddie. We all love Cleetus but his inexperience showed at Rockingham. I applaud him though for being able to still finish the race through all that adversity. I genuinely didnt think he would with how difficult Rockingham is

Whether you like it or not, NASCAR made the correct decision. I would have loved to see Cleetus go run a clean race, and finish in the Top 25 Sat. Which would have gotten him approved. But we all saw how much he still has to learn, and Talladega isn’t a place you go to learn.

NASCAR's Probst says: -Talladega first stage will be longer than final two stages to try to mitigate the fuel-mileage incentives. Final two stages won't require a fuel stop. Stage lengths TBD. -preseason test at Daytona in January to change power levels & spoiler to see impact.

@psychedalex68 She was quick all day until the window net issues. I definitely think Cleetus and Squirrel overshadowed some of these stories.

I feel like Dystany wasn't mentioned once in the race Saturday, which is baffling to me. Her story clears any of these other guys, and she clearly has some raw talent. She should be being hyped more than anyone else in my opinion.

@bobpockrass @NASCARONFOX Im all for him racing but as I am with any driver that moves up the ranks too quickly...cautiously optimistic. Im pulling for him to have a clean race this weekend in both ARCA and ORP. Personally I still think we need to look at the approval process in general.

And then I wanted to know whether Cleetus McFarland is listening to the outside noise on whether he should be allowed to race or not. He is a content creator so it's no surprise he is quite in tune with what people are saying. @NASCARONFOX
