It began when a 15-year-old high school student ran away from home and was officially reported missing and endangered by his parents. ​As days ticked by, a frantic multi-day search ensued. An Amber Alert was issued, and rumors quickly began bouncing around Charlotte High School and the surrounding local areas about where the teenager could possibly be. Most people assumed he was couch-surfing at a friend's house or hiding out in the woods. Nobody expected the truth. ​The investigation took a sharp turn when detectives with the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office started looking into the student's school life. Witnesses revealed that the teen was posting social media posts at the home of 31 year old teacher, Kelly Joyce Simpson. ​When deputies tracked the lead to Simpson’s residence, she initially refused to let law enforcement inside. So, Elon Musk messaged with me for over an hour. It was hilarious. He wanted me to invest $500 to him through a Zangi App. Sent me a recording of his voice using AI to convince me he was Elon Musk. During my messaging, which was very entertaining, I checked on line for scams. Yep. Scam. I heard about this on Fox News. How does someone believe they are messaging on X with Elon Musk for over an hour and he wants $500. Yeah, Elon Musk has time for that for sure - over an hour with a complete stranger. I was laughing while messaging. He just kept selling me on the investment like a 1st month at the job broker. It was fun to play along thank you Elon for all your time. Money invested $0.
