Well done lads, proper battle today. Your keeper’s had a great game pulled off some fantastic saves. We should have buried the game with the one on one at 1-0, but it wasn’t to be all the best.

I have notified the @MesterFC management of my decision to retire from playing with immediate effect, and am delighted to have been offered the role of Assistant Manager/Dog Shit cleaner upper. Could do with some tips from @SteveBracknall on how to get the best out of the role.

Self pity city today. Found out the ankle agony I’ve been in for the last two years is down to a mega rare benign tumour (PVSN) 😐 My football career has been a long way from glittering, but it’s my social and physical release - facing up to the fact those days are numbered.

@MesterFC @JackInABox10 Ah right - I was worried you meant a pen was given 😂😂 Obviously I wasn’t there but if a free kicks been given, ref must have felt at the time there was element of intent for ball to be played back to keeper.

@Craig__Holland @JackInABox10 No two separate incidents. Ref said a keeper can’t pick up a miss controlled ball even though law states a back pass has to be deliberate. Pen was a perfectly good tackle that should have been a corner, not one player appealed.
