From Watches & Wonders, we’re taking a closer look at the Santos-Dumont, one of Cartier’s most enduring designs with roots dating back to 1904. This latest release leans into the brand’s heritage, reimagining 1920s-era metal bracelets in precious metals for a modern context. Offered in platinum and yellow gold, each model is paired with a matching mesh-style bracelet, replacing the leather straps more commonly associated with the collection. Made up of 15 rows and nearly 400 individual links, the bracelet creates a fluid, almost fabric-like feel on the wrist. Across the lineup, two models feature silvered satin-finished dials, while one stands out with an obsidian dial. Each measures 43.5mm by 31.4mm with a slim 7.3mm profile and is powered by the manually wound 430 MC caliber.
