I remain mystified by President Trump's continual deference to Vladimir Putin, who: - Is a dictator - Is a terrorist - Hates the West in general and the U.S. in particular I have no plausible explanation for President Trump's inexplicable behavior towards Putin (the aggressor) and Zelensky (the victim).

Donald Trump Jr. bought into a company. 3 months later, his dad's Pentagon handed them $620 million in taxpayer dollars. Democrats forced a vote to subpoena Don Jr. today to come clean about this shady deal. But Republicans blocked it and even shut down the hearing to protect him.

With deep respect and heavy hearts, we remember Walter LaSota, one of the last surviving Marines from the Battle of Okinawa, who passed away at the age of 99. In May 1945, during one of the fiercest battles of World War II, LaSota was fighting at Sugar Loaf Hill in Naha when a Japanese bomb exploded near the foxhole he shared with another Marine. The blast threw him down the hillside, leaving him wounded, unable to see or hear in the chaos. Disoriented and separated from his fellow Marine, he never learned what became of the man beside him a question that stayed with him for the rest of his life. Despite the devastation around him, LaSota fought on and was wounded twice during the battle, earning two Purple Hearts for his bravery and sacrifice. For decades he carried the memories of Okinawa with quiet strength, representing a generation that endured unimaginable hardship in service to their country. Today we honor not only a Marine and a survivor, but a witness to one of history's most brutal battles. Rest in peace, Marine - your courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🙏🇺🇸

Iran-linked hackers claim breach of FBI director's personal email (Reuters) - Iran-linked hackers have publicly claimed the breach of FBI Director Kash Patel's personal inbox, publishing photographs of the director and his purported resume to the internet. On their website, the hacker group Handala Hack Team said Patel "will now find his name among the list of successfully hacked victims." Reuters was not able to immediately authenticate the emails published by Hanadala, but a sample of the material uploaded by the hackers and reviewed by Reuters appears to show a mix of personal and work correspondence dating between 2010 and 2019. A Justice Department official confirmed to Reuters that Patel's emails were compromised but did not go into detail. The FBI did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The hackers did not immediately respond to messages.
