German Football Coach Christian Dobrick has come out as gay to the public — saying he's tired of hiding in the closet:
"If I can’t hide my disability, then I don’t want to hide my homosexuality any more.This charade has drained me too much. At my previous clubs in the youth academies, I kept my homosexuality a secret from the players. This went on for years. It was incredibly stressful. Now it’s over."

What’s crazy is this show captured the spirit of Star Trek more than any other of the new series. It was the first one to be legitimately hopeful for the future.
