Yesterday someone asked Casey if he will disavow the SPLC after it was revealed they allegedly funded extremist groups like the KKK and fake “far right” marches and were indicted for wire fraud and money laundering.
His response? “Lol no.”

It’s important to know that the Southern Poverty Law Center does not just fund hate groups. It also funds legacy media outlets. Like the Texas Tribune. So it spends donor money on getting protesters to racist rallies, and then funds news outlets who will report on racist rallies and praise SPLC for their work combating the problem racists. Do you get how this works now? Thanks to @damintoell for reminding me of this.
