not to say that the recomposited version sucks, i actually think its very cool and obvs had a lot of work put in !!! i just think that using lighting to frame things in animation is important, and the recomposition seems to just be aiming for cinematic/accurate lighting instead

okay hot take but i think both of these are too much in either direction. one feels unfinished and the other has an rtx on hyper graphics mode nvidia upscaling ai type feel. would be cool to see a version of the show with just consistent, smooth, an mostly flat compositing
