@AllCristina2 That’s fair. I think Sonic Pico Park will shadow drop soon. That way, marketing can go straight into overdrive in 2027. Also, Sonic fans will have something new to talk about instead of commenting on the feelings of disappointment.

@AllCristina2 Having said that, there better be an update path for Switch 1 users. I really hope SXS Gens pricing on Switch 2 was a one-time thing.

@AllCristina2 I’m still excited for the release. A better version of SF on Switch via Switch 2 is technically what I wanted. Part of me is just happy that I finally know that I have to temper my expectations for this release. All the speculation had me in the void 😮‍💨

@2Qwuik The bare minimum I’m expecting is booting up the birthday bash Sonic Frontiers update on Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition and celebrating Sonic’s B-day in game. If anything having Sonic Pico Park shadow dropping this month would also be one of my expectations.

I have now accepted the fact that we won’t get any game news probably until TGA SEGA really wants to give their revived ip more spotlight. I just really want the next Sonic game to be the very best in the franchise again. I have accepted my fate

It's insane Sonic Pico Park doesn't have a release date yet. That game is the most "gets release within an hour of announcement" game I've ever seen

My biggest issue with Sonic Pico Park so far from what we’ve seen is that fact it seems like there are only 4 Sonic characters It would suck to have a group of 5 play this game and 1 of them have to pick some random Pico Park character
