Why do you care if people don’t like you? Chances are those people don’t even like themselves….

What if, as a content creators, when somebody unfollows you, instead of asking yourself, “What did I do? Why did they unfollow me?”, you didn’t even give it a moments thought because why people unfollow you isn’t your business. It’s not about you, it’s their journey.

Something I can’t figure out… How can influencers so openly share every detail of their lives, but when somebody challenges or disagrees with them, they shut it down because they’re being “attacked”? Don’t talk to the world and refuse to listen when they talk back.

Funny thing about growing up… The older I get, the more I realize how little I know. I used to think I knew everything, but now I know how much more I have to learn…

I don’t know who needs to hear this…but it’s OK that you don’t miss your kids when you aren’t with them. You have permission to focus on other things outside of motherhood.

Hard truth & honest confession. I used to think about crashing my car or wanting to get hurt, just so I could get a break. This is what postpartum depression and exhaustion looks like….being so tired that the idea of being in a hospital is considered a break.

A family member asked me the other day if I’d blocked her on Instagram. This MADE MY DAY! I’d gone from being so addicted to IG that if I didn’t post for a few day, they thought I had blocked. But in reality, I was just living my life without sharing every second #progress

I spent years worried about certain parts of my body, only to realize years later that they were actually awesome and I was missing out on moments because of something nobody else cared about.

I’m the family present bitch. Which basically means that I spent years stopping at drug stores on the way to the parties and wrapping the last-minute present in the car in a parking lot.

Setting boundaries doesn’t mean you don’t care. It means that you recognize your limitations and you’re taking care of yourself, so you can fight for the things you deeply care about.

There was ONE piece of leftover pizza in the fridge. The fact that my husband didn’t take it to work, and left it for me, is probably the biggest sign of love for me. I’m easy: just keep me fed and I’m happy.

Me: “Don’t touch mommy’s private parts” 4-Year old: “I’m not touching your private parts, I’m just playing with your floppy boobies” Cool, cool, cool....

Mom guilt is a bitch... It’s a dark & negative emotion that creeps in, takes over, & steals joy. Don’t you want your kids to have a mom who’s happy? Do it for your kids; tell mom guilt to suck it!

While biking today, somebody yelled at me out their open car window, “Buy a car you fat whore”. It was a great reminder that what people say & do says more about THEM than it does about you.

A shoutout to all the moms who constantly pee in a toilet full of kid poop and then don't flush...because they're too scared of waking up the sleeping baby.

Remember before you had kids and you’d judge moms for stuff you saw them doing? BAHAHAHA! These days, if my kids are wearing 50% of their clothes, while I sit on the couch on my phone, and they play with minimal screaming...I’m living the dream.
