UNIOSUN, I’m truly sorry for any inconvenience my absence may have caused. However, the promoter was unable to assure me of my team’s safety. As everyone knows, the current situation in the country, especially with the recent abductions, this has made security a major concern. All I requested was an extra vehicle with security because it’s a 5+ hour journey, and I’m not willing to risk my life or the lives of my team members for a show. Unfortunately, I was told that my request was unrealistic. I have offered to refund the money through the right booking channel but they chose clout. I hope you all understand that choosing to be security-conscious is not wrong. The safety of my team and I will always come first. Thank you 🙏🏾❤️.
