Bilingual Pre-k had their parents come up after school for a meeting on how to support their child’s learning. The teachers walked them through how to practice skills in fun, engaging ways at home! What a great way to engage with the community! @EhrhardtKISD @KleinISD_EC

@EhrhardtKISD Pre-k, K, and 1st grade teachers did a math station make and take today! They got to walk away with prepped, hands on stations that included an addition machine, a bald person station, sensory gel bags to form numbers in, and a subitizing bead pipe cleaner station!

They then presented their stations to their team at PLC so everyone could see the objectives and how each station worked. Each teacher walked away with 16 intentionally planned stations. Sharing so that others can #worksmarternotharder and utilize team collaboration!

My pre-K team divided up 2nd Q math stations between shapes, patterning, subitizing, & number sense and each teacher planned 4 stations in their area, including materials needed for each station. @EhrhardtKISD @KleinISD_EC

Kinder Literacy stations are in full swing!!! I loved seeing this bilingual kinder class building words with syllables, writing around the room, and matching letters/initial sounds. @EhrhardtKISD @KleinISD_EC

I loved getting to see our new kinder phonics program in action yesterday morning! There were so many great Science of Reading practices throughout the lesson! @KleinISD_EC @EhrhardtKISD

Our students LOVED it! They had so much fun designing and creating their good/service, determining a price, creating a business plan, buying other goods/services, and directly applying their learning in a hands-on, memorable way! @KleinSocStudies

2nd grade applied their learning from their Economics Unit with a Market Day! Each 2nd grader created their own product to “sell” to other 2nd graders. They earned eagle bucks in class that were then used to purchase what they wanted to buy on Market Day! @EhrhardtKISD #gameon
