@MakenzieOldham Think of the message patience sends kids! Someone once told me you have to go slow to go fast. And this is a great example. #FHSDLearns

A5: Give extra time throughout my lesson. Lessons may have to be extended over multiple days to do this, but I think this is okay because if students don’t feel rushed, they will feel more comfortable and able to learn and practice their skills. #FHSDlearns

@MakenzieOldham I spent a lot of time on SQ3R this year and my kids really liked the structure. Especially for non-fiction. They even used it in their science text without prompting!
