This is Earth, from Artemis II. This is us. Taken by Reid Wiseman as the crew makes its way to the Moon. I can't imagine what it must have felt like for the crew to see this view for the first time. You can see aurora near the top and lower left of the planet. And that beautiful glimmer at the lower right: that's sunlight from the Sun, eclipsed by Earth from the crew's vantage point. Our very own new blue marble photo. 🥹 It's only going to get better from here. This is just the beginning.
