1st Grade Reading Buddy Adoption Night! Ss adopted a stuffie, promised to read to it every night, named it, created a collar, made a bookmark & ate snacks. They even chose a free book to take home! We included books in Spanish & books with characters of color. ♥️ @Pleasant_Plains

We loved having our “Special Guest” Mr. Planter in to read “I Got Next” by Daria Peoples Riley! It is Read Across America Week! We have been reading books suggested by @ColorfulPages in their 2020 Read Across America Week Unit! We loved every second of it!!

This week we have been working on making 10 and solving missing addend problems!

The @Pleasant_Plains staff family had a lovely outing in Hampden this evening. We enjoyed a masterful glass blowing demonstration at @corradettiglass and delicious chow @BluePitBBQ. The staff that hangs together holds together. Love these people!

Today we went outside for a listening walk in Science! We were able to listen for different sounds in front of school. Can you guess what we heard?
