To all the signatories: What was the situation with the Strait of Hormuz before the illegal war of aggression by the American and Israeli regimes? Didn’t you know that you were all benefiting from the free passage of energy and trade, while Iran—under constant U.S. disruptions—was hardly able to benefit from that same privilege, yet remained committed to ensuring safe passage for others? Was that not total restraint by Iran, even under such hardship? Stop accommodating the American and Israeli aggressors. Don't try to outdo each other with these statements. Stop the aggression itself. The aggressors expect hearing the same statements, so as to continue with their destabilizing mission. At the very least, have some fairness.

The company said it doesn’t consider “diversity, however defined.” Here is what Berkshire looks for in a board member: “individuals who have very high integrity, business savvy, an owner-oriented attitude, a deep genuine interest in the Company and have had a significant investment in Berkshire shares relative to their resources for at least three years.”

We judge people too much by their fleeting opinions—and too little by their consistent actions. Anyone you meet is likely to hold some views you dislike. No one is as bad as their worst idea, and no belief is set in stone. The true test of character is how people treat others.

Lucy is a daughter to our brother Eddie Mutwe, who is languishing at Luzira Prison for no crime whatsoever. We checked on her at her school for visitation. Those who know them understand how close she is to her dad. His continued detention without trial wears down heavily on her, especially now that she is a Senior Six candidate.
