هر کسی از داخل ایران با هزار بدبختی وصل شد، یک جمله گفت و رفت: «فقط خواستم بدانید، ما تا آخر ایستاده‌ایم، به هر قیمتی.» «گفتند شما بیرون، از روحیه ما خبر ندارید؛ بگذارید اینترنت وصل شود، آن‌وقت می‌فهمید ما به‌جای وحشت، آرزوی خیابان داریم چون امید، ترس را کنار زده» تمام فرسایش مشروعیت، وقتی با نفرت اجتماعی ترکیب شود، به نقطه‌ای می‌رسد که هزینه ماندن، از هزینه رفتن بیشتر می‌شود وقتی مردم به هر قیمتی پایان را بخواهند، هیچ روایتی نگهش نمی‌دارد.

Detta är stort. Irans oppositionsledare, kronprins Reza Pahlavi, planerar att besöka Sverige. Man kan tycka vad man vill om Pahlavi. Men i dag är han den enda oppositionsfigur som har förmåga att samla en bred, sekulär och demokratisk iransk opposition – både i exil och inne i Iran. Därför är detta besök politiskt betydelsefullt. Sverige har länge talat om stöd till demokrati och mänskliga rättigheter i Iran. Jag förväntar mig därför att Tidöpartierna, inför besöket formellt erkänner Pahlavi som den ledande företrädaren för Irans demokratiska opposition. När Irans folk offrar sina liv för frihet och demokrati duger inte svensk mellanmjölk och diplomatiska dimridåer. Nu krävs tydlighet, ryggrad och politiskt mod.

The Islamic regime in Iran has executed 19-year-old Shahin Vahedparast at the Ghezel Hesar prison. Shahin was accused of acting as an agent for the U.S. and Israel and trying to seize weapons from a military facility during the nationwide January protests in Iran. Human rights advocates define his trial as a sham based on forced confessions and a lack of due process. Rest in peace, Shahin 💔
