Accurate voter rolls are critical to election integrity. That’s why Louisiana became the first state to use the newly revamped SAVE database in May. Preliminary results of an ongoing investigation into noncitizens on our state’s voter registration list show that 390 noncitizens were registered in Louisiana. Of those, 79 voted in at least one election. Thanks to @realDonaldTrump, our state was able to make use of this free, easy-to-use data to help us further clean our voter rolls. I will keep using every tool at my disposal to ensure our voter rolls are accurate and that our elections remain safe and secure.

All states issue Drivers Licenses to non-citizens. 19 states issue them to illegal immigrants. Some have already legalized non-citizen voting at the local level. There are 30 million non-citizens in America. This is all headed in one direction. Unless we SAVE America.

I support the SAVE America Act unconditionally. If you’re voting in an American election, it’s common sense that you should have to show you are who you say you are.

You need an ID to board a plane, buy cold medicine, or open a bank account. Requiring one to vote shouldn't be controversial. We need to pass the SAVE Act in the Senate.
