I think saying they can't be is racist. It takes agency away from an entire group of people based on race. If that's not racist, I don't know what is. The fact is that hate and prejudice are human traits. And race is an illusion. There is no genetic basis for humans to be divided into races. Race is a social construct. And social constructs are prone to exploitation. Genetic variation between humans is real, but it doesn't map onto racial categories. About 85% of all human genetic variation exists between individuals within the same population, and only about 6% falls between racial groups. Two people from the same village in Nigeria can be more genetically different from each other than either is from a person in Norway, for example.

@fatalcrimsonn I once tried to commit suicide. Took a bunch of pills. The second I had them all down, I regretted it. Had to be hospitalized. Whatever pain you're feeling, know that when you take a suicidal action, that pain feels insignificant to your new will to live. Endure and get help pls.

I'm seriously thinking about killing myself. Everyone is doing something in their lives while I'm just rotting away. I don't have any friends, my lover cheated and left, the only people that are willing to listen answer every once in a while. I can't do this much longer.

@KURT_COBAIN_POV So you're going from D to open strings on the last four strings? That's a G/D. Try adding an A chord to that. D—G/D—A. That's a I-IV-V progression in D major. But the way you have it now is creative. Trust your ear and know there are no wrong moves on guitar if it sounds good.

@scabsore Mental anguish isn't extinguished in one fell swoop. It's more like an evolution. Endure in point A to get to point B, which hopefully isn't as painful. Then endure to point C. And so on. Any incremental progress is to be celebrated. Just have to keep moving. Stagnation is peril.

@cnhotline One of the things I feel most terribly about is how little I cried after my mom died. She deserved hours upon hours of sobbing. But I just accepted it. Too quickly for my taste. It still bothers me.
