The slow paced long runs are the most important thing to do correctly!
Increasing your mileage ran per week to ~30-40 miles once you are comfortable is also a good base to build off. The longer you’re on your feet comfortably the better!
My HS XC and Track experience has helped me in designing my own training plans, but there are a lot of videos I’ve watched to help me form everything together.
This is the channel I’ve consumed the most from, definitely recommend taking a listen!

Ran my 2nd half marathon today!
Didn’t go according to plan after mile 8 🥀Unfortunately I tried doing too many Speed Trainings late in the career and hit ‘Don’t Overdo It!’ during the race(my legs gave in).
On the brightside my cardio felt great and the pace for the first 8 miles is promising for the next one 🙏
We’ll take it as a good workout today ✌️😅

I figured I should make an announcement here for anybody that should know, but I have been and will be on a significant hiatus from Uma for some amount of time.
I was able to complete my goal of being No1 in TT for all of Unity Cup + a tiny record push at the end!
Simply put, I just do not have any interest in playing competitively at the moment like I did before for TT, rating, cm or any careers in general.
It’s been about 3-3.5 weeks since my last real career run so I’ve had this on the backburner for a while now.
With that said, there won’t be any tier lists/suggestions from me about the game since I don’t want to give out untested opinions, sorry for anyone waiting for those😭
Will still be passively active on here and in the Umacords I am a part of though, just unsure of when I’ll return to playing.
