@neiltyson I'm reading about elements/atoms and positive/negative charges. What's a 'charge'? quarks +2/3 -1/3? But what's a 'charge'? A quark becomes a boojum. Adding/subtracting electrons changes 'charge'. But what is a 'charge'? What is matter 'doing' at base to make a charge?
