Late summer jellyfish die off. Once reproductive duties are done, it's over. They just stop swimming & drift. The tideline was heavy with them at Skaill tonight; a Lion's Mane, numerous Blues & lots of Moon Jellyfish. They don't decompose. Being 97% water they just evaporate.

This hard truth I learned living with depression. It’s not easy to embody this approach but I’ve discovered it works for me. Healing is not always the eventual absence of my mental ill health symptoms. It can be the strengthening of my inner resources. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

This feels very hard to write, but earlier I tried to end my life. I’m currently in hospital, awaiting assessment, not sure what the future holds. If anyone has any pet pics (or other cute pics), I’d really appreciate the distraction ❤️

@NickyJacques2 Absolutely wonderful, so wholesome, in nature, in a costume, swimming gently down the river with the unique perspective of Shrewsbury that gives. In previous years I’ve discovered how powerful the river really is and how the cold takes your breath even when you’re expecting it

On the 5th July 1948 the National Health Service was created.......... On the 5th July 2024 let's hope we'll have a government who will pick up the pieces of the now broken NHS..realise it's importance and start rebuilding it...
