1/3 I am a guest this weekend of St Ethelburga’s Centre for Peace & Reconciliation in London. The church was rebuilt in 2002. Its window is crafted partly of shards from the 1993 IRA Bishopsgate bombing. Its inscription, from the Psalms, reads: O PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM.

Worth noting today the particular relationship between the Holy See & Scotland. Recognised as a special daughter in 1189, importance of the Declaration of Arbroath in 1320 and the reestablishment of the Scottish Hierarchy in March 1878. Glad to see @JohnSwinney in Rome today
