I've done over $7M of volume on pokemon gachas and I can confidently say they're way better than opening actual pokemon packs
When you rip a $10 booster pack irl 95% of the time you get $2 worth of cards back
But when you rip a $25 gacha pack there's a 75% chance you get a slab worth at least $15-25 and a 25% chance of the time you get something worth more and actually make money
There's no point in ripping physical packs anymore
If you want to gamble then use gachas
And if you want a specific card in packs just buy it off the secondary market
